Coke Brands: The cover of American Splendor #3 issue has a Coca-Cola fishtail sign. The cover is shown in the background during the interviews with Harvey and then later with both Harvey and wife Joyce. When Harvey is invited to go on David Letterman's show, Joyce and Harvey stay in a New York hotel room. There is a large cup of Coca-Cola with lid and straw by a large metal ice bucket and another on the nightstand next to the lamp. In a subsequent appearance on the Letterman show where Harvey criticizes GE, two staff tidy up the studio lounge where there are an opened Coke can on the coffee table, another on the floor by the waste basket and about a dozen Coca-Cola cans and a few bottles of Dasani water in the small fridge.
