Coke Brands: Alice's husband Don is a Coca-Cola truck driver. Don yells at Alice to do something with the kid from the bedroom. A Coca-Cola hat and uniform are seen next to him on the bed. Don sits at the dining room table wearing the Coca-Cola uniform with a large square patch on the back of his shirt and on his right front shirt pocket. The patch says Enjoy Coca-Cola with the dynamic wave device. Next evening, Alice makes lamb for dinner. Don eats quietly in his Coca-Cola uniform. After dinner, Don and Alice sit and watch television in bed and Don's white Coca-Cola cap is on top of the lamp on the nightstand. Don dies in a collision in his Coca-Cola truck and cardboard boxes of Coke cans and wooden crates of Coca-Cola bottles spill onto both sides of the truck at the scene. On their way to Monterey, Alice and Tommy spend a night at the motel room. A Coke can is on the table by the window and a Fresca can is by the telephone on the nightstand. Next day Alice looks for a job and meets Chicken Holliman at a bar and there is a Coca-Cola 6-pack of bottles on the floor in the back by the refrigerator case. Alice has dinner in the motel room with Tommy telling him about her new job. She has a Fresca can on the table as she eats. Tommy drinks from a Coke can in the kitchen of their new new motel room asking Alice about her friend Ben. After Rita's visit, Tommy goes to the bedroom and leaves his Coke can on the suitcases. Ben storms into the room and threatens his wife Rita. Alice tells him to calm down. The Coke can is on the suitcases between them. Alice moves to Tucson and gets a new job at Mel and Ruby's Cafe. There is a Sprite thermometer by the counter and a Coca-Cola wave sign on the wall. Alice eats a slice of pizza and drinks from a Coca-Cola paper cup back in their motel room. Tommy and Alice banter and splash Coke on each other with their Coca-Cola paper cups. David asks Alice for a date at Mel's while Tommy sits at the counter blowing Coke bubbles in a bell-shaped glass through a straw. In this scene, the square Coke logo is seen as part of the larger On Tap sign on the wall. The day after Alice's visit to David's ranch, a customer named Steve at Mel's has a can of Fanta root beer on his table as he pinches Flo's rear. Flo and Mel talk behind the counter and there is a Sprite thermometer on the wall behind them next to the kitchen door. Three customers at one table are busy eating and they have cans of Fanta orange soda, TaB and Fresca. The middle round table with five customers have a can of Fanta (grape soda?) partially obstructed by a ketchup bottle. Flo spills ketchup at the table and from a new angle, there is another Fanta orange can. On the tables near the window, there is also a Fanta can. Mel helps clean up the ketchup and a customer sitting at the counter has a can of Coke next to him. Customers laugh at Mel's comment and a Fanta root beer can is on one table and a Coke can is on the other next to the windows. Another day, Alice takes orders from David and Tommy at the counter. The middle roundtable has 2 cans of TaB and the counter behind Alice also has two cans of TaB. The day after Alice's fight with David, Alice returns a tray of sandwiches a can of Fanta orange and a can of Fanta grape to Mel advising the order is wrong. David sits at the counter and tells Alice that he likes to see her again. A man sitting to the right of David examines the TaB can in his hand. An empty Fanta orange can is on the counter next to Alice.
